Sabah Khan is co founder of Parcham, an organization committed to a just world, respectful of diversity and founder of Savitri Fatima Foundation for Inclusive Development. She mentors youth from vulnerable communities in taking leadership towards social action through the organization. She was a speaker at a TEDx event, speaking about Changing the World, one friendship at a time.
As member of the ‘Muslim Women’s Rights’ Network’, a group advocating Gender Just laws she was responsible for the formulation of the Progressive Nikahnama, an assertion of the rights of Muslim women. She is editor of Urooj, a newsletter bringing out the secular voice of Muslim youth. She is author of the book, ‘The Queen The Courtesan The Doctor The Writer : 50 Inspiring Stories of Muslims’. Sabah has worked for over two decades with developmental organizations on issues of urban poverty and minority rights.
