About

If Charlie Chaplin said "A day without laughter is a day wasted" our own Hyderabadi humourist, the late Ghouse Khamakha said "Auron par hasney walon ka anjam jo hoga so hoga; lekin voh qaum nahi miththi jo apney aap par hansthi hai" (The consequences of laughing at others will be what they are; but the people who laugh at themselves will never be erased). Why is it important to laugh? At others and at oneself. The panel discusses this pressing question with examples from literature, poetry, cinema, and public life. This is no laughing matter. The Nation wants to know!
